The dual technology has been designed to meet the security needs of premises where large and troublesome areas need protecting. Within these security areas there may be a range of natural and environmental changes that traditionally detectors can confuse with human movement.

Incorporating both microwave and passive infra red, the Jupiter can virtually eliminate false alarms by requiring both technologies to activate before indicating an alarm condition.

Two types are available, a 27 metre volumetric or a 61 metre long range.

The Jupiter is designed with a head and bracket to enable good installation flexibility.

Jupiter features mirrored optics, good white light, fluorescent light and RF immunity, fully EMC compliant, as well as having anti mask and latching facilities. Jupiter also constantly monitors the ambient temperature and automatically compensates to ensure optimum detection over a wide temperature range.

A walk test LED indicator is incorporated which doubles as a fault condition exists.
