The V12 "Dual-Hex" technology uses a 12 element sensor, this enables the detector to make smart decisions prior to generating an alarm, thus minimising false alarms.

The use of sealed optics with white light filter increases the detectors' immunity to false activations, and an automatic temperature compensation circuit is designed to ensure continued reliable detection at high temperatures.

As well as excellent detection capabilities the V12 has an in-built self test diagnostics feature, giving early warning of any degradation in the detectors performance.

The detector comes as standard with a volumetric lens with a 15m range. In addition there are two further lenses available, a long range lens (20m) and a curtain lens (10m) to give special protection for doors and windows. These unobtrusive detectors are suitable for offices and shops as well as in the home.
