The
equipment is designed to detect movement between two points up to 150
metre apart. The transmitting and receiving units posses several unique
features to provide maximum security with high protection against false
alarm or malicious interference .
A high security
reference between the transmitter and receiver is available, which is
designed to prevent the beam from being compromised by external pulsed
light source, with opaque housings concealing beam direction between
transmitter and receiver. This also gives immunity from interference such
as lighting or fluorescent light.
The beam will also reject signals caused by small fast moving objects such
as small birds in flight, which are frequently present in places like
warehouses and large buildings.
Nuisance alarms
stemming from poor alignment of transmitter and receiver are avoided by
accurate alignment controls.
These detectors are suitable for use in many indoor situations. The
equipment is housed in rugged, impact resistant casings designed for easy
mounting on any solid surface. Full protection against tampering is
provided, any attempt to interfere with the equipment will cause an alarm.
