Shatterpro and Shatterpoint have been designed to respond to the ultra sound frequency generated by breaking glass.

Using digital analysis Shatterpro is able to distinguish between breaking glass and background noise with each detector being capable of covering a radius of 6 metres. Shatterpoint operates in a similar manner and has a coverage area of 3m by 3m which makes it particularly suitable for display cases.

Both detectors are effective on plate, laminated, tempered and wired glass. Each is fitted with an indicator LED which latches when in alarm condition allowing the activated unit to be identified.

The detectors are suitable for mounting unobtrusively in both residential and commercial premises and, as they do not have to be directly attached to the glass, are particularly appropriate for protecting display windows. Both units can be checked using a specially designed acoustic test unit.
