The muti-purpose high security seismic detector is designed to protect safes, vault doors, walls, security cabinets and automatic teller machines (ATM). It contains industry trusted sensors which define vibrations within specified frequencies, amplitudes and durations and signal back to alarm control unit. Although the detector is sensitive to all forms of tampering it will disconnect brief environmental noises which could lead to false activations.

The design of the detector is based on extensive research into the vibration caused by attack on safes including drills, explosives, oxy-acetylene equipment and thermic lance.

The optional keyhole flap has been designed so that, if the flap is moved in an attempt to use stolen keys or insert explosives, an alarm state is caused. A solenoid controlled version of the keyflap is designed to prevent accidental operation. In addition, the Burgoguard can employ a slave sensor, which utilises the full potential of the detector and allows maximum protection.
