Each Halon Bank Vigil+ system can be individually configured to the user's
exact requirements. As the configuration data is held in solid state
memory, installation time is reduced and changes can be quickly and
efficiently made should the need arise.
Operation of the system is controlled through Personal Identification
Numbers (PIN) or a smartkey. Security is increased by introducing a time
period during which a number remains valid. The engineer's PIN code is
changed daily by Halon Bank Vigil+ using a complex algorithm ensuring that no
unauthorised personnel can gain access to the system. The occurrence of
false alarms is greatly reduced by using signal processing, where one
detector refers to another for confirmation of an incident, and buffer
areas that give a pre-warning should someone stray from the predetermined
entry or exit route.
A built in managed reset is available, which is designed to allow the
customer to reset their own alarm system following a police called
activation. This saves both time and money as an engineer will not have to
go to site. The unit complies with ACPO, BS 4737 standards and the NACOSS
code of practice.
Halon Bank Vigil+ can be installed to meet with the requirements of BS 7042
high security standard.
