These extinguishers
are suitable for all Class B fires, i.e. those involving flammable
liquids, the foam produced can also extinguish Class A fires of a
freely burning nature. The units are designed for use with Halon Bank
'Fluorofilm' AFFF. Other types of foam are available on request.

Easy-to-operate
applicator
The powders
recommended for use with this unit are Halon Bank Fire GP (general
purpose Class A, B & C) and Monnex (Class B). These powders are
capable of dealing with Class B flammable liquid fires and fires
involving flammable gases such as methane, LPG etc. (Class C fires).
GP can also deal with Class A fires involving carbonaceous materials
such as wood and paper.
All powders listed
can be applied to electrical fires.

This range of
mobile fire extinguishers makes provision for those fire risks where
hand-held extinguishers would be inadequate and a fixed engineered
system would not be justified.
These extinguishers
have seamless steel CO2 cylinders conforming to BS 5045 Part 1,
clamped to two wheeled trolley frames which are provided with
stowage for the hose and applicator.
All CO2 cylinders
are provided with a screw-down valve, safety pin and safety-bursting
disc.
The standard
applicator is a 470mm long non-conducting horn with integral handle.
A discharge valve is provided.
A squeeze grip
control is supplied with the applicator to allow full control of the
discharge.
