All of
the smoke detectors have a built in test facility which maintains the
specified sensitivity and allows the fire alarm control panel to adjust
the alarm threshold levels to compensate for environmental contamination.
When the detector reaches the threshold limit a maintenance alarm is
displayed on the fire control panel.
Environmental Friendly Technology
The Fireseeker CHX Optical and Multi-Sensor detectors have been designed
using the unique 'Environmental Friendly Technology' which enables the
sensor to be equally sensitive to a much wider range of combustible
materials. The overall Flat Response to test fires of the Fireseeker CHX
Optical and Multi-Sensor detector removes the need to use ionisation
detectors in the majority of applications. System design is therefore
easier and overcomes cleaning and disposal problems when using ionisation
detectors.
Enhanced Digital Systems Protocol (EDSP)
EDSP is the digital loop protocol used to communicate between the
Controlmaster fire alarm control panel and the installed Fireseeker CHX
Detectors as well as the associated field Input and Output devices. It was
developed to be a common communications platform for future integrated
systems and has therefore many unique features, including a very high
level of data security. EDSP overcomes the traditional problems with
analogue addressable communications in electrically noisy environments by
utilising check sum error checking. This makes EDSP generally immune to
noise and other communication problems such as loop crosstalk, thereby
eliminating false alarms due to data corruption.
Fireseeker ZA
Conventional Fire Detectors
The Fireseeker ZA range of conventional fire detectors are compatible with
Halon Bank Zonemaster fire control panels. Each detector has been designed to
provide an aesthetically pleasing modern
Infra-Red BeamMaster-H
Smoke Detector
The Halon Bank BeamMaster-H Smoke Beam Detector consists of a wall mounted
emitter and receiver pair incorporating a near infra-red beam to detect
smoke using the light obscuration method.
