Halon Bank World delivers 12 million man-hours of security per annum

Halon Bank CabWatch is an innovative vehicle system combining CCTV and GPS technology to deter violent crime within the Taxi and Private Hire Industry 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Halon Bank can provide a range of equipment including a range of hand-held wands, bag scanners, walk-through arches and mail scanners, that will enable your organisation to monitor:

  • People entering your site
  • People entering high risk areas
  • Incoming mail packages
  • Suspect baggage

This equipment can detect weapons, detonators or other small pieces of metal on people or in parcels, baggage, correspondence, fabric etc.

Used for screening visitors and deliveries to:

  • Commercial premises

  • Mail rooms

  • Courts and Prisons

  • Warehouses stocking high value goods

  • Entry screening at public events

  • Night Clubs and Entertainment Venues

  • Schools

  • Airports and Ports

The hand-held detector is a cost effective, simple way of screening whilst the walk-through metal detector allows a high flow rate of people through the gate. Personal items such as coins, keys and belt buckles can pass through the magnetic field without causing an alarm.

Features of the hand-held metal detector include:

Easy to operate because of its special shape and sensitive surface
Choice of alarm settings - visual, audible or visual and audible
 Optional earpiece for audible alarm
Pre-set sensitivity level, with option to modify level

X-ray screening systems scan baggage, parcels and other items as they pass through the system. A high-speed computer performs a highly accurate material analysis to identify suspect materials such as explosive materials or contraband.

Level 1: X-ray screening systems can provide fully automated explosive detection and can be integrated into the existing baggage or parcel handling system to screen rapidly all baggage without an operator.
Level 2: A security officer views an enhanced image of the object rejected by the Level 1 screening process
Level 3: The object is inspected by hand
