The
Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) specifies that every vessel must have
stringent fire safety systems to prevent the loss of life, property and
cargo. This is to ensure that all fire safety equipment employed onboard
confirms to current European regulations in terms of its effectiveness,
health and safety and environmental requirements.
Being

Lloyd’s
approval comes after an exacting and through auditing process as Marine
Business Development Engineer explains: “We began by conducting
an internal audit across our 7 branches and provided documentary
evidence of our certifications, procedures, quality and training. assurance
then came to inspect our Falmouth branch, which passed with flying
colours. Accreditation was issued just two weeks later.”
L&G
Marine excels at providing skills engineers for all types of marine work
including offshore, where engineers are R.G.I.T survival certified.
L&G Marine often has engineers on board vessels during a run and
thus also advocates strict adherence to Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).
