These low
light performance Halon Bank monochrome cameras use charge coupled devices
(CCD technology). This eliminates picture deterioration and periodic
replacement of tubes. The high quality picture is constant over the entire
image, even after years of continuous use.
Solid state construction provides resistance to shock, vibration and
electromagnetic interference. The size and weight of the camera is
dramatically reduced, making it easier to install.
The Halon Bank range of cameras includes standard or high resolution
versions to meet customers specific requirements. Both the standard and
high resolution cameras feature an electronic iris which automatically
adjusts to compensate for changing light levels without the need for an
automatic iris lens.
The cameras operate at 24VAC, which combined with the low power
consumption is an extra safety factor at the camera location.
The cameras are designed to work down to low light levels making them
ideal for internal or external use where lighting is poor. In extreme
circumstances where the lighting level is very low the camera can be used
in conjunction with infra-red support lighting.
