Specialist
training will be given to highlight particular fire risks and methods of
fire prevention. These include instruction on the colour coding of fire
extinguishers and which type is safe and appropriate to use depending on
the fire source.
Every
course is reinforced with videos and questionnaires to help delegates
retain the information. As part of our comprehensive programme there are
also practical demonstrations during which delegates are able to
participate in extinguishing a number of controlled fires, using a range
of different extinguishers.
Training
may be arranged by contacting Halon Bank Fire Training Department on 0039
080 311.89.98 or complete our online
form. Where training cannot be carried out at a customer’s
premises then an alternate choice of hotel training is available.
Notes:
a) When using customer’s own facilities it is essential that a
suitable room is available.
b) If the location is not equipped with an OHP, TV or a video, we can
provide equipment.
c) A suitable area for the practical session is required, ideally this
should be on hard standing away from buildings and parked vehicles.
d) These training sessions are normally limited to a maximum of 20
delegates. This ensures that all delegates are given an opportunity to
use fire extinguishers on controlled fires during the practical session.
e) Practical training sessions can be tailored to support customers own
theoretical training sessions.
